About Pyralis Design

Welcome! My name is Lynn Delinger and I’m a freelance Graphic and Web Designer based in Southern California. I have loved creating and designing since I was young, and am passionate about all things related to the design process. I enjoy a wide variety of artistic endeavors, although I specialize in print design, weddings, logos, and photo retouching. I am organized, motivated and thorough in my process. My Experience:
I specialize in Graphic Design with over 7 years of experience, most of which has been freelance. I have worked with companies such as the SDA Language Institute in Seoul, Korea, and Adventist Southeast Asia Projects (ASAP) in Michigan, as well as many smaller businesses and projects. The majority of my projects are in print media – posters, postcards, advertising, brochures, calendars, catalogs, newsletters – but I have also done branding (logos, business cards), photo retouching, and t-shirt design, as well as typesetting and book layout. One of the most interesting projects I’ve worked on was the design of a gravestone for a client’s parents.

Amongst my professional experiences, one of the most beneficial was working in a printing shop as a prepress technician. This greatly expanded my knowledge of the entire design process, most specifically about what happens when my job (the actual designing part) is over. As a result, I know how to set up and optimize my files for printing, as well as provide the “insider scoop” to save you money when printing.

 

I also have a long history with Web Design – I hand-coded my first site in a university web class, and was immediately hooked. Since then, I’ve continued to build websites, incorporating the advancing technologies, for both pleasure and business. I can help you with the entire web process: from registering your domain and purchasing hosting, to website creation and design.
